Grinding aids are organic compounds (used as process additives during cement grinding) that allow to increase milling efficiency. They are usually sprayed in the mill, or added on the clinker conveyed in the grinding stage. Their macroscopic effect is the reduction of cement coating on grinding media and mill lining and the improvement of hourly mill production and cement fineness.
